Banana Bench

This project was a result of a cardboard chair competition.  The piece earned an honorable mention for aesthetics in the 2009 Chair Affair competition.  It was an enjoyable project to work on because it encompassed the ability appropriate a would be waste material to a new function as well as offering artistic authority in representation.  The bench is both structural as a seat and sculptural as an object.
